Consume relies on the interaction of the viewer to complete the work. The use of lush oil paint exhibits physicality similar to flesh and body. Each piece depicts transforming body parts, consuming and regenerating. The support being perspex gives glimpses of the viewer watching, with their own reflection a part of the work they become a part of the morphed figures. Creating a shadow upon the wall, the perspex adds depth and a new perspective. Immersing the viewer with a 2D image as a 3D object.
